Patricia A. Post Patricia A. Post

PATRICIA  A. POST, Senior Teaching Associate, joined the Faculty of Business Administration in 2001 and is a member of the Communications Area. Her primary responsibility is undergraduate teaching. She teaches Business Communications I and II in the BBA program.

Pat has devoted much of her career to educational communications and adult learning having taught English-as-a-Second Language and adult upgrading in Nova Scotia, Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Baffin Island. She has also taught adult education at the Nova Scotia Community College, Truro, and the University of Prince Edward Island. Prior to her current appointment, she served as an instructor in the Faculty of Education at UNBF.

 "In a previous life," Pat tried her hand at parenting, office administration, court reporting, emergency medicine, graphic art, and stand-up comedy.

Pat's academic interests include conducting phenomenological research on the developmental stages of learning to teach in higher education and the role of gender and culture in communication styles.
