Jeffrey J. McNally
JEFFREY J. MCNALLY, Assistant Professor, joined the Faculty of Business Administration in 2011 and is a member of the Human Resources area. He previously served the FBA as an instructor of human resources from 2005-2007. Jeff currently teaches Administration, Human Resources Selection Systems, Labour Relations, Motivation & Work Behaviour, and Training & Development at the undergraduate level, and Motivation & Job Design at the graduate level.
Dr. McNally’s research interests focus on examining employees’ psychological investments in their organizations in terms of their relationship with work-related attitudes and behaviours. He also has an interest in examining the outcomes of management education at the university level, particularly entrepreneurship education and training.
Jeff is a member of the Academy of Management, the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada, and the Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. He is an active ad hoc reviewer for such academic journals as Academy of Management Learning & Education, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, and the Journal of Small Business Management, among others.
Jeff was awarded the FBA Annual Research Award in 2013 for his work in the 2012 calendar year. As a doctoral student, he was awarded Ontario Graduate Scholarships in 2009 and 2010 as well as the prestigious Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Doctoral Fellowship in 2010.
