JOANNE I. HINTON, Senior Teaching Associate and Associate Dean (Programs), joined the Faculty of Business Administration in 1999 and is a member of the Accounting/MIS area. She teaches Introduction to Business, Administration, and Financial Accounting, She received the Faculty of Administration's Excellence in Teaching Award in 2002.
Professor Hinton was appointed Associate Dean, Programs, in July 2008. Her primary responsibility is administrative oversight of the undergraduate and graduate business programs at UNBF. Her office is responsible for the management of admissions, enrolment, academic appeals or reviews, student advising, and other academic services. In addition, she sits on undergraduate and graduate curriculum committees at the Faculty and University level.
She holds a CMA designation, originally from Alberta and now from New Brunswick. Her primary responsibility is dedicated to undergraduate teaching.
