Students welcomingCourse work for the Graduate Certificate in Management equips students with the tools to communicate professionally, lead team groups, prepare budgets and understand financial statements, recognize opportunities, prepare marketing plans, and manage human resources.

Here is a list of the courses participants are required to take in the program:

  • MBA6153 Corporate Governance and Law
  • MBA6203 Accounting for Managers
  • MBA6303 Marketing Theories and Strategies
  • MBA6403 Financial Management
  • MBA6503 Organizational Studies
  • MBA6606 Business Data Analysis
  • MBA6607 Production and Operations Management

[Note: if your employees are already an expert in one of these subjects, they can take an advanced elective or two instead.]

The program runs during the regular academic year (September - April) and courses are normally scheduled in the late afternoon and evening to accommodate employees' work schedules.

Participants can complete the program in one to two years, depending on whether they attend full-time or part-time.
