Trinidad and Tobago Campus
The Faculty of Business Administration delivers a program of studies leading to a UNB Fredericton Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Trinidad and Tobago through a partnership with the University of West Indies at St. Augustine (UWI). This program is delivered through the UWI School of Business and Applied Studies Ltd. (trading as ROYTEC).
More than 1,000 students have graduated from the program since it began in 1997. Among these graduates are numerous personalities from the Trinidad and Tobago economic and entrepreneurial scene. Currently 225 students are enrolled in the stream that leads to a UNB BBA degree. Approximately 1,200 students are enrolled in the ROYTEC Associate Degree program.
The UNB program at ROYTEC is registered with the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago, the country's governing body for the assurance of quality of post-secondary and tertiary education. Professors from UNB or other well-reputed universities, as well as qualified local instructors, deliver courses at the Trinidad and Tobago campus.
Under the Government Assistance for Tuition Expenses (GATE) initiative, tuition assistance is available for qualified citizens of Trinidad & Tobago pursuing undergraduate programs at ROYTEC and UWI.
