History

The faculty of Business Administration at the University of New Brunswick launched the NB Exporter-U Program, which was once called the Export Partnering Program (EPP), in 1998 and originally called the Academic Partnering Program (APP), in 1995. With several successful years of the APP and the experience to support further initiatives, the APP was expanded to include students in the Bachelor of Business Administration Program in 1998.

The number of companies that have participated in the program stands at 208 with 555 students who took the course and 122 who participated in the trade missions. Université de Moncton and Crandall University also participate in the EPP.
