Export Partnering Program
What it's all about
The Export Partnering Program (EPP) is about gaining the knowledge and skills to develop and implement an export marketing strategy.
How it works
You'll be enrolled in the year-long Export Market Entry course, where you'll form teams of four to five students and be matched up
with a small- to medium-sized business. Your team will then work with that business to help develop an export marketing strategy. Current and past participating businesses with EPP students can be found here
The Export Partnering Program works with companies from all sectors, so you'll be matched up with a company that suits your interests and skills.
Throughout the program, your team will work closely with your company to make an export-marketing strategy targeted toward the New England States. Upon completion of the course, you'll have invaluable hands-on experience and six more credit hours towards your degree.
Breakdown
In the fall term you'll build a foundation by learning the theories behind export marketing.
In the winter term, you'll work with your partnering company to put those theories into practice.
In the spring, one member from each team gets a fully funded trip to Boston to participate in the annual Trade Mission. A representative from each partnering company will join each EPP student, and the teams' export strategies will begin to be implemented.
The program wraps up with a presentation to your company, focusing on recommendations and giving advice on what to do to get the export plan into gear.
