Upon graduation, Atlantic Canadian students are often challenged by the lack of local employment opportunities in their area of study. The International Business and Entrepreneurship Centre and the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency have found a solution: the EITG.

What it's all about

The Export Internship for Trade Graduates is all about bridging the gap between the completion of a student's post-secondary education and the beginning of his or her professional career. The EITG provides practical hands-on work experience for graduate students in New Brunswick in the areas of trade and investment. This program creates great opportunities for New Brunswick graduates to remain in the region and work in their area of expertise.

How it works

The EITG is a 12-18 month paid internship with a small-to-medium sized business in New Brunswick. During the internship, graduates develop and implement an export strategy, an action plan, and undertake market research.
