Activator Entrepreneur Application Information

IBEC is looking for the next Activator Entrepreneur.  We've launched 5 businesses in 5 years.  Will your invention be the next Activator success story?

Will you be the next Activator Entrepreneur?

If you have a great idea, then why not get some help from UNB's top MBA students?  In the Activator program you will be matched with an MBA who will act as a team leader and operate under the guidance of a seasoned business mentor.  Student teams will create your business plan, perform a market analysis, venture valuations and a prototype.  

What's your commitment?

All we ask is that you share your knowledge and have a number of meetings with the students.

Does your idea have what it takes?

Pitch your idea to our panel of investors, entrepreneurs and industry experts who will select the top ideas for entry into this award winning program. 

What will you receive?

Get ready for meeting with investors by receiving a professional business plan, an in-depth market opportunity analysis and venture valuation.  All created by UNB's top MBA's working under the guidance of academic and business professionals.

Application Process

1st Step: Written application to be reviewed by the Activator Selection Committee

2nd Step: Interview of selected candidates by members of the Activator Selection Committee.  Please prepare a presentation (maximum 15 minutes).
