Pond-Deshpande Pitch Competition

Great ideas are a precious resource. But only when they’re shared! A new competition at the University of New Brunswick is offering people the chance to refine their ideas and pitch them to a panel of judges for cash prizes.

Sponsored by the newly launched Pond-Deshpande Centre at UNB, the student pitch competition will take place on December 1, 2011, in the Wu Conference Centre at UNB Fredericton and is open to students from all faculties across both UNB campuses, and to members of the public. The only criterion is a great idea.

During the competition you will have 60 seconds to describe your idea, explain how it will work and who it will benefit, and convince the audience to buy into it. The judges will then decide who has the best pitch and who wins the cash prize!
