Our team includes: Karen Murdock, Director; Cathy Sparkes, Assistant to the Director; and Student Project Assistants. The Student Project Assistants are an integral part of the development and implementation of many IBEC activities.

The International Business and Entrepreneurship Centre in UNB's Faculty of Business Administration provides practical entrepreneurial experience to UNB students and gives small businesses and entrepreneurs access to planning and export expertise. IBEC recognizes the increasing need for NB small and medium sized businesses to operate in an international capacity.  The Centre's teaching, research and outreach activities are focused on educating the next generation of international business professionals, developing and increasing entrepreneurial spirit in NB and promoting international business opportunities.

IBEC's four successful flagship programs - the Export Partnering Program, the Activator TM, the Export Internship for Trade Graduates and the MBA Consulting Group - provide hands-on learning experience for students and consulting services for small business.  The Centre's business plan competitions, Visiting Scholar series and other events bring together students, entrepreneurs and leaders in business from around the world.

Through the continued support of our major donor - BMO Financial Group - and our many sponsors, IBEC will continue to provide students with an integrated, synergistic service and learning centre, flush with real-world learning opportunities.
