Admission requirements for the BBA

Admission regulations for entry into UNB Fredericton's BBA program are posted by the University and can be viewed here, but here is a summary:

New Brunswick high school students:

In 2008 the average grade of high school students admitted into the BBA program was 83  per cent.
  • a minimum graduating average of 75 per cent
  • English 122 (minimum grade of per cent)
  • Trigonometry and Advanced Mathematics with an Introduction to Calculus (with a minimum of 65 per cent)
  • appropriate electives

High School students from other provinces:

  • equivalent performance in comparable high school courses

Graduates of New Brunswick Community Colleges (or from a comparable institution):

  • two-year business technology program
  • an average of 75 per cent over the two years normally will result in a grant of 30 credit hours toward the BBA degree

International students:

  • a minimum TOEFL score of 580 (237 computer-based)
  • equivalent performance in comparable high school courses

Students who wish to transfer into the BBA program from another faculty:The Faculty of Business Administration's BBA program is now accredited by CMA Canada

  • a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 normally is required for a student to be considered for transfer into one of the Faculty's programs
