How Co-op Works

Co-op matrix

Step One

  • Attend a Co-op orientation session in either September or in January
  • Submit your application for admissions into the Co-op program

Step Two

  • Apply for various business co-op positions
  • Interview with employers to secure a work term

Step Three

  • Organizations offer work placements to the successful candidates.
  • Offers are sent electronically in the form of a letter of offer or a contract.

Step Four

  • Students accept the offer of employment or not!
  • Communicate with the employer to determine a suitable starting time.

Step Five

  • Start work!
