What Co-op Students Can Do

From the large number of entrants to the Faculty of Business Administration's BBA degree program only the best candidates are admitted to the Co-op program. The Business Administration degree ensures all first year students are exposed to essential courses in Communications, Marketing, Accounting, Mathematics, and Economics.

Before their first work term, students attend a Co-op orientation session where professional development workshops cover such topics as: resumes, interviews, work ethics / job expectations, and Co-op procedures. Co-op staff will visit the students on-the-job as well as maintain contact by telephone or e-mail. The importance of developing good communication skills is stressed to the students and students must present a report to their sponsoring organization at the end of the work term.
