Allan Reid

Allan ReidProfessor

Allan Reid has published on a variety of subjects, including Soviet and Russian literary theory (Lotman and Bakhtin), Russian literature (primarily 20th-century), holocaust literature, and recently his focus has been on Soviet underground culture and literature from the mid-1950s to the mid-1970s, in particular, the poetry and life of Natalia Gorbanevskaia.
He has taught a large number of courses in Russian Language, Literature and Culture, World Literature, and Holocaust Literature.
He received the Dr. Allan P. Stuart Excellence in Teaching Award in May 2005 and the Faculty of Arts Award for Excellence in Teaching in May 2002

He is currently President of the Association of University of New Brunswick Teachers
