Assistant Vice-President (Finance & Corporate Services) and Treasurer
Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Vice-President (Finance & Corporate Services), the Assistant Vice-President (Finance & Corporate Services) and Treasurer is responsible for University treasury functions including the following broad activities:
- Ensuring that University investment policies, strategies and programs are effectively implemented and administered;
- Effective management and administration of University cash flow and banking activities;
- Oversight and administration of University debt management plans and activities;
- Real estate development cash flow and debt management;
- Participation on the Board of Trustees for the Pension Plan for Academic Employees of the University of New Brunswick;
- Serve as secretary to the Properties Committee.
The Assistant Vice-President also provides support to the Vice-President with respect to the broader Finance & Corporate Services portfolio as required.
