Introduction to GIS in Forestry & Environmental Management

The course introduces GIS via the industry-standard ArcGIS suite and emphasizes learning GIS through applied environmental management scenarios. Specifically, applications in land base inventory and mapping using data for the UNB Woodlot.

Course details

Students have six months from the registration date to complete the course. All course exams and/or assignments must be completed by the designated end date.

  • 1 x Final Exam (invigilated - contact instructor, 45%)
