Open entry courses are open year round to UNB/STU undergraduate and graduate students, adult learners, students studying at other post-secondary institutions, and prospective students. Our selection of courses crosses a wide range of faculties and topics, are flexible and allow you to progress through the course at your own pace.
Term based courses typically include weekly scheduled learning activities or assignments through a web-based delivery mode, and are completed within the term. You may work in collaborative groups and/or participate in discussion forums.
Are you missing some key admission requirements for a UNB program? The University Prep Program is an online, non-credit preparatory program that can assist you in setting and reaching your admission goal. It will also help you establish strong study skills to improve your academic success. Programs include Biology, Chemistry, English, and Writing.
Available online, the Applied Behaviour Analysis Certificate Program is the first program of its kind in Atlantic Canada that meets the coursework requirements for the Behaviour Analysis Certification Board®, Inc. (BACB®) examination. Upon successful completion, participants may be eligible to apply to write the exam to become certified. People who hold BCaBA® certification are much sought after by employers.
The Certificate in Adult Education (CAE) is designed to provide participants with a stand-alone certificate or the first step towards a Bachelor of Education in Adult Education degree. The program is open to learners who have at least one year (or equivalent) of full-time paid or volunteer experience in educating and training adults.
