ADED4012Diversity and Inclusion in Adult Learning3 ch (W) (EL)
Provides an introduction to diversity and inclusion in adult learning situations. The objectives of this course are to stimulate adult educators' examination of their beliefs about adult education; to explore social justice philosophies and to critically examine an inclusive teaching practice. Topics include the competing purposes of education, poverty, multiculturalism, anti-racism, gender, sexual orientation, indigenization and decolonization and possibly other related issues at the discretion of the instructor. Studetns may receive credit for ED 4012 or ADED 4012, but not both.
