The experts at the Career Development and Employment Centre (CDEC) can provide students and recent grads with a multitude of support and resources. We offer:

  • Demonstrations of the most current and insightful job seeking tools, and an exploration of the Labour Market and how understanding trends can impact your career decisions,
  • Examination of the ways your degree program connects with a variety of career options,
  • Individual advising and access to self-assessments designed to help you explore the best career options for you,
  • Career development resources, and tool kits to help you build your career confidence,
  • Recommended ways to build the career competencies employers are seeking in today’s workforce,
  • Information about employment programs on and off-campus, advice on how to market your skills and values, and guidance around creating professional career documents that will get you to the interview and beyond!
  • Information about on and off-campus employment opportunities,
  • Access to a wide range of career and employment-related workshops,
  • An event calendar that points you to employer information sessions, recruiting and networking events.

Our services are available remotely through Microsoft Teams and in-person at Neville Homestead.

Our hours of operation are 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the academic year. Our summer hours are 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Career Development and Employment Centre is a scent-free environment.
