English Language Programme

ELP offers several virtual and in-person programs and services for individuals at all proficiency levels, from beginner to advanced, to improve their English language abilities. Virtual ELP courses allow you to connect face-to-face with our facilitators and other students in an online setting. These dynamic, interactive courses will focus on reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Intensive English for Academic Purposes (EAP)

A variety of in-person and virtual programs are available to equip learners with the English language skills they need to function in a university setting.

Intensive English Term Format

September-December, January-April, and May-June

Full-time language studies incorporate class time, assignments, tutorials, advising, and independent coursework. Improve your ability to write, read, problem solve, give presentations and enhance critical thinking skills.

Intensive English Term Segment

September-October and January-February

For students who require a shorter program of study. Course features are the same as the Intensive English Term Format.

English Language Classes (In-person)

  • Small-group classes are available for 10, 15, or 25 hours per week
  • One-on-one tutorial classes are available to meet individual needs
