About the instructor

Jason Anderson is a working musician who loves connecting with audiences through stories and song. He’s been lucky enough to tour the world, gigging his way from Australia to Iceland and points in between. Alongside a prolific solo career, Anderson is an accomplished guitarist and session player, having collaborated in the studio and on the stage with a diverse array of acclaimed indie artists including Mount Eerie and Strand of Oaks. More than anything, he is happiest when sharing his passion for the craft—holding a BA in Theatre and an MA in Teaching, Jason is a guitar and piano instructor at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre in Fredericton, and was one of the city's Artists in Residence for Summer 2021.
