Be a part of one of our largest music communities.

A full wind, brass, and percussion ensemble open to anyone who plays a band instrument. Improve your playing and make rich musical experiences with peers. No auditions are required to join, and instruments are available to rent. The group rehearses weekly and performs a concert a the end of each semester.

Time: 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Location: Memorial Hall, UNB Campus, Fredericton

About the instructor

Photo of Andrew DaigleAndrew Daigle is a Fredericton-raised music teacher, conductor, and performer. He is passionate about music and the arts and strives to be active in his community through musical performances and education.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Mount Allison University where he studied Bass Trombone performance, conducting and composition/arranging under Alan Klaus, Wesley Ferreira, and Alisdair MacLean respectfully. Andrew also holds a Bachelor of Education degree from Saint Thomas University where he specialized in Secondary Education and first started working as a conductor and private instructor with the CMA.

Andrew's teaching experience has allowed him to travel to China and Sweden to teach/perform music at international English schools, work with Cadets Canada as a Band Officer and Commander of Advanced Music Courses at Cadet Summer Training Camps across Atlantic Canada, arrange and compose works for school choirs and concert bands, and directing a variety of different ensembles from choirs, marching bands, concert bands, jazz bands, small ensembles, and pit orchestras for musicals.

Andrew has performed with the Fredericton Symphony Orchestra, Symphony New Brunswick, The Thomists Big Band, The New Brunswick Tri-Service Cadet Band (Director) and is currently active with STU Jazz and Branch Out Productions.

Andrew currently works as a music teacher through the New Brunswick Public Schools and teaches private lessons in brass instruments and music theory.
