Youth: Book Illustrations for Beginners (In-person)

Create your own illustrated book in 4 weeks!

Learn to create playful concepts with a practical ideation process and bring those ideas to life with illustration. Create a poetic storyline that will blossom into your completed visual project. Each class features useful tools to stoke your creative juices and learn technical skills from a professional illustrator.
 
You will be guided through the process from start to finish by our Illustrator, Venus.

All materials will be provided.

This course is designed for ages 13 to 17.

About the instructor

Venus Angelica is an Illustrator working from her studio in Fredericton, NB. Born and raised in Toronto, she grew up on a steady diet of fantastical picture books, and magical portals where anything is possible, and imagination could be manifested in reality through words and imagery.
Venus studied at OCAD University and received a Bachelor of Design with a major in Illustration and a Coaching Certificate in Therapeutic Art. Visit Venus's website to see some of her work.
