Women's Woodworking: Design For Your Space (In-person)

Woman working with power tools

Continue your woodworking Journey!

This woodworking course will give you a chance to use many of the joinery skills learned in the Joinery for The Novice class. Using your own desired measurements and material you will be assisted to design, construct, and finish your own storage unit. The storage unit or shelving may double as a bench, small table, or other piece of furniture.

The woodshop at the Ville will provide the necessary tools, space, and basic consumables (glue, sandpaper, etc.) but you will be responsible to purchase the wood, fasteners, and finish (varnish, paint, etc.) needed to construct your project. This is a great opportunity to build something for that particular space or need that you have in your home!

Materials and Design will be discussed on the first day of class.
