Strategic planning is a process of self-examination an organization undertakes to work toward a specific goal. The key product of this process is a written plan, which guides those responsible for linking day-to-day activities of an organization to targeted outcomes.
During this 2-day training, you will learn all the steps involved in the creation of strategic planning and you will have the opportunity to initiate strategic planning in your own organization while benefiting from the advice of a seasoned facilitator.

Laurie Bourque brings to his clients over twenty years of experience in business development and management consulting. He holds the professional designation of Certified Management Consultant (CMC), and has assisted private organizations achieve a variety of strategic goals. Laurie is a graduate of the Professional Human Resources Management Program at the University of New Brunswick and prior to becoming a founding member of Kensington Associates, he held the position of Managing Partner with the Business Development Bank of Canada’s consulting group.
Having held senior positions with an Asian commodities trading firm, a major commercial Bank and in manufacturing, Laurie has a strong background in financial management systems and senior project management for a large number of corporations as well as non-profit organizations at regional, national and international levels. As a keynote speaker and group facilitator, he has been featured in a variety of business publications.
