Performance Management is critical to meeting your organization's business goals. In this seminar, you will learn about the importance of employee appraisal, issues that influence the selection of a performance appraisal system and commonly used appraisal methods.
You will also become familiar with methods for avoiding rater bias and discuss the role of the Human Resources (HR) professional in appraisal systems, including the challenges involved in coaching and supporting management and employees.

During the past 15 years, Tina Smith has acquired a broad range of Human Resources experiences in which she has led and participated in key organizational development and change initiatives involving Human Resources department start-ups, union contract negotiations, staff recruitment and retention, staff orientation, organizational health and safety programs, employee policies and benefits administration.
An active member of the Human Resources Association of New Brunswick (HRANB) since 2004, Tina has contributed by holding various roles including Executive Director for the HRANB Moncton Chapter from January 2007-2009, Vice-President from January 2009-2011, President from January 2011-2013 and Past-President 2013-2015.
