Each year, UNB receives gifts in memory of students, alumni, current & former faculty and staff, and friends. These gifts further the University’s mission of teaching, research and service to the community. You may make a gift in memory of someone using one of the following methods:
Upon receipt of a memorial gift, the University will inform the appropriate person as per the donor’s instruction. If you require assistance in making arrangements to direct memorial gifts to the University, please contact Laura Burnett at (506) 458-7594. We would be happy to provide wording for obituaries, supply memorial gift cards, and answer any questions you may have.
Memorial funds enable friends and family to share memories and contribute toward an endowment that will create a lasting legacy for a loved one with a special connection to UNB. Memorial funds - or named gifts - can be established for a student award such as a scholarship or bursary, or for other purposes. In these instances we work closely with the appropriate family member or friend to support them in this special effort. Please contact our memorial gifts liaison for more information.
The following web pages are in tribute to special members of UNB’s family. These pages contain biographies and information on how you can contribute to the memorial funds established in their memories.
