Canadian River Institute Hynes Lecture Series

Event Details

In a changing climate, rivers and lakes are warming and water flows are more unpredictable. A significant gap in our understanding of climate change is weather, and how freshwater organisms will respond.  As part of the 2015 Hynes Lecture Series, Dr. Julian Olden of Washington State University, USA will present a science lecture titled “Racing against extinction: will freshwater fishes keep pace with climate change?” The lecture will take place on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., in Hazen Hall, room 125 on the Saint John campus.
