Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity datasets are used around the world by universities, private industry, and independent researchers. We maintain an interactive map indicating datasets downloaded by country.
We recommend using Internet Download Manager (IDM) to download files.
We shared everything we have on the datasets on their related information pages and in the published paper, however, other researchers have used the datasets and published article. You may find more information by searching for and reviewing these articles.
Some of our researchers created videos to help explain either how their dataset were created or how they were used. These videos are shared on CIC's YouTube channel. If there is a video, then a link will be included on the dataset's webpage.
Sorry, we do not have file level information. Everything we have on the datasets is on the released documents (related information page and published paper).
For many of the datasets, the projects are closed, and the researchers have moved on to other projects and organizations. We suggest trying to reach out to them.
Our datasets are available to download from anywhere in the world so long as you have an internet connection. After you choose a dataset from the main list, you will be taken to the dataset page where the research team provided information about the project. At the bottom of the page is a red button that takes you to a download form. Once the form is completed, you will have access to the dataset files.
Sorry, we do not have file level information on our datasets. What we have is shared on our website and for many of the datasets, the projects closed several years ago.
In many cases, the people who worked on the datasets have moved on to other projects and organizations. We suggest trying to reach out to them.
