The elected power of attorney must be in possession of these documents during the student loan negotiation process and must be able to show UNB Saint John’s Financial Services Office and the National Student Loan Service Centre (NSLSC) upon request.  Additionally, the elected power of attorney must have a copy of your SIN card, picture ID (examples of acceptable ID include: valid driver’s license, Canadian passport, provincial health card with a photo, or permanent residency or citizenship card) and provide them with a VOIDED cheque including branch, transit and account number.
