How You Can Help Your Student Succeed
We recognize that as parents, partners, siblings, family and friends, you are an important member of the support network for our students. To help you in this role, we offer information that will help you understand what your student will be experiencing and how you can help. We encourage you to share this exciting new experience with your student, and to experience UNB for yourself.
Residence Move In
For those of you bringing your first time UNB student to live in one of our residences Saturday September 1st will be a big day. Please arrange to drop your student off between 8:00am and 5:00pm that day. Student Services representatives will be there to Welcome you while your student is welcomed by the Reslife Coordinator, RAs and members of the Res Council. Keep yourself informed about Residence Life in general and Residence Orientation specifically.
Family Orientation
Family Orientation will be held Tuesday September 4th from 6:30-8:00 pm. Come and find out more about the variety of supports and services available to your student as well as yourselves. Most new students find it very helpful to attend Family Orientation so bring them with you.
