Writing Centre

Professional advice and tutoring on academic writing is available through the Writing Centre. Appointments are available year round. Day, evening, and weekend appointments can be made during the academic year.

Math & Science Help Centre

The Math & Science Help Centre is a free service provided to strengthen math and science skills for students who are experiencing difficulty with first year mathematics, statistics, and science courses.

Peer Mentors

Peer Mentors are upper level students with experience at being successful at university. They act as "big sisters" or "big brothers" to first year students.

Appeals / Regulations

Advice for students on making appeals on academic matters, the Student Disciplinary Code, and other student issues.

To assist students, each year Student Services compiles a list of students who are interested in tutoring other students.

Study Skills

Our Student Development Coordinator can help you develop good study skills by providing lectures, workshops and one-on-one consultations. Topics include getting organized, scheduling your time, making good notes, reading better, and performing well on tests.
