President's Annual Report 2011 (February 2012)
If the University of New Brunswick is the province's rocket fuel, President Eddy Campbell provides the spark that ignites the university’s economic, social and cultural engine.
That rocket-fuel analogy was contained in a speech by New Brunswick’s premier, but the university’s catalytic role is not confined by provincial boundaries.
Dr. Campbell sits down with journalist Gordon Pitts to talk about the state of the university and its role on the regional, national and global stages in a time of economic stress.

This study estimates the economic impact of UNB using a combination of a standard approach to economic impact analysis as well as current research results from the literature examining the linkages between higher education and socioeconomic outcomes.
