Options for Places to Stay

The first choice any student should make when looking for a place to live is whether they want to live in residence or off-campus.

• Residence

UNB has a vibrant residence community with 13 residence houses in total - 11 traditional, one suite style, and one apartment style. There are many benefits to living in residence, including:

• • You will live on campus
  • You will be very thankful for the short walks to class in the winter months
  • You will have the opportunity to meet many other students and participate in many on-campus activities
  • You will have all your meals provided by the cafeteria
  • You will not have to worry about bills

• Off-Campus

If you choose to live off-campus there are several options available to you:

• • Buying a house
  • Renting a house
  • Renting an apartment or an apartment in a house
  • Renting a townhouse
  • Renting a room in a house
