Get a Sticker
The sticker is meant to be a visible and tangible statement that someone supports anyone who identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, transsexual, two-spirited or questioning (LGBTQ). When you display the sticker on your door (or binder, or bag, or computer, or wherever else you choose), you are providing a safe place for someone who is experiencing discrimination to go to. It is a place where they can go without fear that someone will judge them based on their sexual orientation.
Stickers are provided to all interested Safe Spaces workshop participants. The hour-long workshop explores GLBTQ issues, dispel myths, and explores how best to create a safe and welcoming community. All interested students and student groups are encouraged to book a workshop.
