Financial Assistance for Students from Canada

The government of Canada provides access student loans to support your learning pursuits. Students apply to the province that best meets your residency.  Residency is defined as the last place you have lived for 12 consecutive months prior to full-time post-secondary studies.

Student Loan Repayment Webinars

The National Student Loan Service Centre (NSLSC) is providing Repayment Webinars to help students understand the repayment process of student loans, hints and tips on how to save on interest, and what to do in the event of difficulty in making payments.  These presentations are approximately one hour in length.  To register, click on the relevant link below to choose a time and date.  You will receive an email confirmation with the webinar login information.

Financial Assistance for Students from the United States

Government loans
Students who are citizens or permanent residents of the US may apply for Stafford and PLUS loans through the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program (Direct Loans - DL). This program includes Stafford and PLUS (parent and Graduate) loans only. Students attending foreign schools are not eligible for grants from the US government. Students must be registered in a degree program. Students in online or correspondence programs are not eligible.
