Submit an abstract

The conference technical committee is calling for paper submissions from academic researchers and industry practitioners. There will be two different submission options recommended for conference participants:

Option 1: Scientific paper and presentation

Scientific paper (6-10 pages) and 15-minute presentations for academic researchers – After the researcher receives a formal abstract acceptance from the technical committee, it will be published in proceedings and participant(s) will deliver a presentation during the conference. Submissions for Option 1 will be accepted through EasyChair. The formatting instructions for preparing an abstract and full paper can be found in the templates by option below, and all materials are to be submitted through EasyChair. If you missed the abstract submission deadline, but still wish to submit a paper, please submit a full paper by June 24, 2022.

This option is recommended for academic researchers and the submission process follows three steps:

  • Step 1: Abstract submission (required): Abstracts must not exceed 300 words.
  • Step 2: Full paper submission (required): Scientific papers which are regular technical papers highlighting scientific contributions and the intellectual merits and must be written in 6-10 pages. It must be prepared using the formatting instructions available in the full paper template.
  • Step 3: Camera-ready submission (required): this submission the revised version of the paper in its final format along with the signed copyright agreement form.

Important dates for Option 1

  • May 13, 2022 – Abstract/extended abstract submission deadline
  • May 20, 2022 – Notification of abstract/extended abstract acceptance
  • June 24, 2022 – Full paper submission deadline
  • July 15, 2022 – Notification of full paper acceptance
  • Aug. 5, 2022 – Final papers uploaded to Easy Chair

Option 2: Extended abstract or case study and presentation

Extended abstracts or Case Studies and 15-minute presentations for industry practitioners. This option is recommended for industry practitioners with the aim of introducing their practical applications and case studies. For this option, only an extended abstract and a PowerPoint presentation are required, and there is no need to submit a paper. Submissions for Option 2 will be accepted via email.

Submit a case study

Following the acceptance of your case study, a copyright agreement must be signed and submitted.

Important dates for Option 2

  • May 13, 2022 – Abstract submission (optional)
  • May 20, 2022 – Notification of abstract acceptance
  • June 24, 2022 – Final extended abstract submission (required)
  • Aug. 5, 2022 – Presentation slides submission (optional)

Information for all presenters

All authors/presenters must be registered for the conference by July 22, 2022, or their papers will be withdrawn. It is required that all participants complete a copyright agreement for papers/extended abstract submissions. All accepted papers must be presented at the conference.
