The University of New Brunswick and the Association of University of New Brunswick Teachers (AUNBT) are pleased to announce they have agreed to a 12-month extension of the current collective agreements between UNB and both full-time and contract academic members.

Both agreements arise from a desire to focus on maintaining a healthy and safe learning environment for the university community. The extensions of the agreements continue current provisions and will allow both faculty and administration to turn their attention to preparing for the year ahead, supporting students, and creating a positive environment for teaching and research. UNB has an important role to play in the collective response to the COVID-19 pandemic in all of these areas.

The agreement was recently ratified by both the AUNBT members and the UNB Board of Governors. We are stronger together.
