Macaulay-O'Sullivan Award Winners 2012

The myUNB Portal, an initiative of Information Technology Services, has had an impact on virtually all faculty, staff and students across both campuses, creating a fully integrated and highly interactive “intranet” that has consolidated all online services through one access point.  It also provides an important source of immediate information about events and issues at UNB, and a place where members of the University community can communicate with each other.  Its weekly myUNB Poll regularly draws 2,000 or more responses.

Earlier this year, the myUNB Portal was recognized with the Best Portal Award for 2012 from among all the international clients of myCampus.

Said to be the biggest IT innovation in a decade, the myUNB Portal is helping to build a more engaged campus community and provide a much better student experience.

Those who made this project a success were Benjamin Steeves, Manager of Systems and Applications, Isil Flynn, Joel Goguen, Neil Hawker , Lori Murray-Hawkins, David Shipley, and Trevor Thomas.
