Salary Range:

$61,567.00 - $80,038.00 per annum

YOUR FOCUS:

 

 

 

Reporting to the Director, the Managing Editor will lead a team of exceptional communications and content specialists who are responsible for producing high-quality content that tells the UNB story and aligns with UNBs strategic vision and institutional priorities. They will guide the development of engaging and informative content and identify new modes of effective communication to strategically tell UNB's story. They are also responsible for managing internal and external communication tools, strategies and policies to maintain consistent messaging and brand identity across channels.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WHAT YOU BRING:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Post-secondary education focusing on communications, journalism, public relations, or a combination of post-secondary and relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working on content production.
  • Experience leading and coaching writers.

WHO WE ARE:

 

 

 

The Strategic Communications & Marketing (SCM) Office is responsible for directing all corporate communications, storytelling, media relations, marketing, branding, creative and digital media strategies across the university. Members of the office work in close collaboration with other university units across both campuses to implement strategies, develop performance standards and monitor the effectiveness of the strategies.

 

 

 

This position is part of the non-union Administrative, Professional and Technical (APT) group.
