Salary Range:
$46,711.00 - $60,727.00 per annum

YOUR FOCUS:
- Ensure data is reported on an internationally recognized scale and that it meets all quality control measures.
- Work with the Laboratory Administrator to ensure the financial and staff management requirements of the SINLAB are met.
- Work with the Scientific Manager to provide results to clients.
- Work with the Equipment Manager to ensure the maintenance and proper operation of the equipment.
- Document and maintain sample, staff, and client data records to be used in annual reports and funding applications.
- Maintain communications with clients which may include directing queries to the Scientific Manager for experimental design advice, providing quotes to secure work, and responding to questions the client has regarding their submission and/or billing.
- Assist in sample preparation and pre-treatment analysis.
- Participate in processing samples, as required.
- Train part-time technicians and students on proper lab techniques.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Master of Science in Biology or Chemistry
- Analytical laboratory experience.
Additional Strengths
- General administrative skills, including strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Office 365, IRMS and Isodat NT.
- Analytical thinking/judgement.
- A results-oriented focus.
- Ability to communicate effectively and interactively.
- Ability to work independently and within a Team.
