Standard Work Hours:

Mon - Fri | 8:15 am - 4:30 pm | 36.25 hours per week


Salary Range:

$46,244.00 - $60,114.00 per annum


Subject to final budgetary approval.

YOUR FOCUS:

Reporting to the OCRC Innovation Director, the Marketing and Communications Officer will work with the leadership of the Off-Site Construction Research Centre (OCRC) to implement effective communication and marketing strategies for the Centre.


WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Post-secondary education in communications or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience developing, implementing, and measuring marketing strategies and/or campaigns or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Additional Strengths

  • Training and experience in civil engineering or construction is considered an asset.
  • Strong written/oral communication, and events planning and coordination.
  • Competent in the use of social media and related communication technologies.
  • Strong skills in digital media technologies.


WHO WE ARE:

The Off-site Construction Research Centre, created in partnership with construction industry practitioners and public owners, was created to support the transformation of the industry towards a new approach in construction that emphasizes the adoption of digital technologies and design for manufacturing and assembly approaches to improve overall performance.

This position is part of the PSAC, Local 60551 employee group and falls under the PTSU Collective Agreement.
