Salary Range:
$43,350.00 - $54,062.00 per annum

YOUR FOCUS:
- Collaborate with the Dean in preparation and submission of annual operating budget. Prepare proposals including one-time priority funding, non-space, A&R & student tech fee funding.
- Maintain and monitor Faculty of Nursing operational budgets throughout the fiscal year and ensures appropriate balance in collaboration with the Dean.
- Prepare documents for strategy development of funding related contracts.
- Member of leadership team providing support in the faculty's strategic planning and budgeting processes.
- Make recommendations, implement, monitor, and document all Faculty transactions to adhere to UNB fiscal policies.
- Review accounts for accuracy and coding and reconcile to budget allocations.
- Make appropriate journal entries (both actual and budget) to close out accounts for year end.
- Assess/monitor clinical instructor costs (term, part-time, CAI, secondments, joint appointments.
- Assist faculty with submitting travel claims, personal reimbursement, PDA requests, advances, and cheque req.
- Provide support to faculty for research grant budget development and management.
- Oversee purchase of computers, equipment, furniture, and supplies in accordance with UNB procurement policy.
- Provide financial analysis and interpretation and make recommendations based on analysis.
- Disburse and replenish petty cash, make bank deposits, and use procurement card for eligible purchases.
- Liaise with outside agencies and companies regarding billings. Requests external invoices.
- Travel arrangements as required.
- Manage enrolment data for new and returning students.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- University degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting.
- 5 years' related accounting experience.

- Knowledge of University financial environment would be an asset.
- Good communication skills-both written and orally.
- Ability to work independently, accurately, and responsibly with minimal supervision.
- Ability to understand, track, reconcile and manipulate numbers.
- Attention to detail and high level of confidentiality and integrity.
- Excellent computer skills particularly in area of spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage large amounts of diverse accounting materials and fiscal information.
