Salary Range:

$20.45 - $23.75 per hour

YOUR FOCUS:

 

 

 

Reporting to the Associate Dean (Graduate Programs) in the Faculty of Education, the Secretary PL4 performs administrative/organizational duties for special Master's in Education (MEd) cohorts and processes admissions of all MEd programs and the PhD program. This position actively contributes to the day-to-day activities required to support Faculty, Contract Academic Employees, and students.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WHAT YOU BRING:

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Post-secondary diploma in business administration or a related field.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Minimum 3-5 years related experience in an academic setting with some of this in graduate programs

  • Able to analyze and solve problems, make decisions, and meet deadlines.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of Datatel System (Colleague, Financial) would be considered an asset.
  • Basic financial accounting knowledge.
  • Knowledge of the Educational Community is an asset.
