YOUR FOCUS:

 

 

 

Reporting directly to the Assistant Manager of Student Accounts & Receivable Services, the Clerk PL5 is responsible for various financial accounting duties and supervision of the Service Counter (primarily payment receipting function) and is an integral part of the Student Accounts & Receivable Services operation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WHAT YOU BRING:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Post-secondary education in a related field. An undergraduate degree is preferred.
  • Five years of related customer service and account management experience including supervisory experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Experience in a high-volume academic environment with an emphasis on student accounts is a definite asset.
  • Knowledge of University policies and procedures, collection of accounts receivable guidelines, and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) guidelines as they apply to taxable benefits.
  • Typing skills and knowledge of latest versions of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize own work. Attention to detail is a must.
  • Experience in Ellucian's Colleague will be considered an asset.
  • Exceptional people, telephone and email skills demonstrating discretion, tact, and judgement.
  • Must be willing to participate in job-related courses for a computer-oriented and customer service environment.
