Salary Range:

$55,241 - $71,811 per annum

YOUR FOCUS:

 

 

 

Reporting to the Director, Teaching & Learning Services, the Learning Innovations Manager is responsible to lead a team of highly skilled individuals, for the research, promotion, implementation, and support of learning innovations that will foster and support effective and engaging teaching and learning at UNB.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WHAT YOU BRING:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • A university degree in instructional design, media arts, or educational technology. A Master's degree in a related field would be an asset.
  • Experience managing a complex technical environment that includes educational technology, video, graphics, hardware and software and associated products.
  • 3 years supporting educational technology, system administration, and innovation development.
  • 3 years of team leadership experience, with track record of excellence in team building.

  • Ability to mobilize others toward innovation and fresh approaches in a higher education context
  • Experience streamlining operations to save money, gain efficiencies, improve effectiveness, and increase client satisfaction.
  • Ability to apply innovative technology to support Instructional and curriculum design initiatives.
  • Experience with Learning Management System implementation, administration, and support (D2L preferred) and a wide range of digital media production software and hardware.
  • Experience researching, recommending, and implementing new technologies.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a portfolio of innovation initiatives.

The mission of CETL is to promote effective and engaging teaching and learning through instructional excellence and the integration of classroom technology and media. The Teaching & Learning Services unit specializes in faculty support and development for pedagogy, course and curriculum design, as well as learning technologies and innovation.

 

 

 

This position is part of the non-union Administrative, Professional and Technical (APT) group.
