Salary Range:
$55,241 - $71,811 per annum

YOUR FOCUS:
- Develop and implement long-term plans for Learning Innovation to support teaching and learning.
- Develop policies, plans, and projects for the implementation of instructional technology and multimedia support.
- Promote Learning Innovation as a key driver for providing a transformative education experience, and practical solutions.
- Create and sustain an environment of collaboration within the Learning Innovation team, and among faculty.
- Serve as creative consultant/advisor on digital media and instructional technology initiatives.
- Provide leadership for UNB's chosen Learning Management System (LMS)and offer regular technical workshops, support, and one-on-one consultations.
- Lead support and ensure reliable operation of the Desire2Learn (D2L) system.
- Provide leadership for self-serve hub computers and software services, including media development systems and studio, Extended Reality, 3D scanning and printing, and other advanced technologies.
- Act as a technical resource expert in the production of media materials.
- Research, evaluate, acquire, and install technologies and equipment and train Innovation Hub staff on their use.
- Advise and mentor student producers and faculty members on digital media projects.
- Manage the team for efficient and positive operation of the Media Lab.
- Responsible for the scheduling, supervision, managing and training of support staff within the unit.
- Develop an annual budget, and track usage and adjust revenue/expenditures throughout the year as needed.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- A university degree in instructional design, media arts, or educational technology. A Master's degree in a related field would be an asset.
- Experience managing a complex technical environment that includes educational technology, video, graphics, hardware and software and associated products.
- 3 years supporting educational technology, system administration, and innovation development.
- 3 years of team leadership experience, with track record of excellence in team building.

- Experience streamlining operations to save money, gain efficiencies, improve effectiveness, and increase client satisfaction.
- Ability to apply innovative technology to support Instructional and curriculum design initiatives.
- Experience with Learning Management System implementation, administration, and support (D2L preferred) and a wide range of digital media production software and hardware.
- Experience researching, recommending, and implementing new technologies.
- Must be able to demonstrate a portfolio of innovation initiatives.
