Salary Range:
$47,030.00 - $61,145.00 per annum

YOUR FOCUS:
- Develop a wide range of engaging content for teaching and learning, administrative communications, recruiting, marketing and promotion
- Manage/oversee projects, including workflow, scope, timelines, resourcing, and expenses
- Meet with clients to assess needs/deliverables and provide clients with estimates. Communicate with clients throughout projects
- Use project management software to ensure projects stay on budget and within projected timeline
- Track legal agreements around copyright, logos, licensing, and ensure compliance for model release forms
- Provide strategic guidance, training, and support to the UNB community on trends, standards, and best practices in media content development
- Make decisions regarding project estimates/budget expenditures, in the absence of the Director, Media Services
- Light and set up studio and location shoots. Shoot video and photography as needed
- Assess clients' needs from a visual and technical standpoint to produce their project in various formats that may include documentary, pedagogical content delivery, inspirational, social media style, etc
- Live edit at live events. Edit footage for events, announcements (both photo and video), promotional materials, testimonials, documentaries, simulations and instructional videos, lecture capture, capture group and single portraits
- Write scripts, develop shot lists, write interview questions, streamline shoots, find props, scout locations, etc
- Secure digital assets using specialized high data volume servers for current projects, inventory, and archiving all multimedia projects for the university
WHAT YOU BRING:
- A university degree or diploma in Visual Arts or Media Arts and Culture
- Significant professional experience in videography and media production settings. Portfolio required
- Recent and significant project management experience using project tracking and content management systems
Additional Strengths
- An expert in media design hardware and associated products
- Proficiency with a wide range of Photo/video production, video streaming live edits, multimedia production. Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud Media Development Suite
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, writing, editing, proofreading, and presenting skills. Attention to detail is important
- Deep understanding of digital content development, analytics, and measurement. Able to present findings and deliver recommendations
- A collaborative mindset, tact, diplomacy, and the ability to influence while maintaining relationships
- High level of responsibility, accountability, and autonomy
- Knowledge and understanding of UNB's policies, protocols, rules, and regulations considered an asset
