Salary Range:
$59,732.00 - $77,651.00 per annum

YOUR FOCUS:
Reporting to the Executive Director of Development & Donor Relations, the Manager of Philanthropy Programs is responsible for the development and management of a Leadership Annual Giving Program and all related operations and initiatives. They will work to retain, reactivate, and acquire donors giving at the $1,000+ level annual, and engage in 100-150 meaningful points of contact with donors and prospects annually.
The Manager is also responsible for all strategic planning for the Annual Giving program and lead all direct response activity (mail, phone, email, social media) and work with the marketing and communications team to create innovative fundraising materials. They will also be responsible for group/class giving programs, and the management of the overall Annual Giving calendar goals, timelines, budget, and KPIs used to measure success. The Manager supervises three annual giving staff, as well as parttime student fundraisers, and ensures an emphasis on securing unrestricted giving is reflected across all annual giving strategies and operations.
- Apply a data-driven approach to leadership annual giving program prospect identification, cultivation, stewardship, upgrading, and renewal.
- Develop and implement a strategy to personalize and maximize leadership annual giving communications, solicitations and return on investment new leadership giving strategies.
- Provide direction and strategy to the Annual Giving staff members to ensure effective and efficient direct response segmentation and programming supporting direct mail, phonathon, e-solicitations, online giving, and use of other University communication channels supporting annual giving.
- Liaise and work with various groups including but not limited to class project volunteers, affinity project volunteers, and athletics. The Annual Giving program relies heavily on the work of dedicated volunteers and stakeholder groups who contribute to fund raising efforts.
- Identify strategies to increase unrestricted giving within the leadership annual giving program and portfolio.
- Develop & deliver impact-based communications & events on a regular basis to the UNB community with the intent of demonstrating philanthropic impact at UNB.
- Hire, manage, train, supervise, and provide direction to the Annual Giving Fundraising Coordinator, Annual Giving Assistant, and the Philanthropy Program Coordinator.
- Produce reports from UNB's database for the purpose of reporting on special funds, success of fundraising campaigns and for keeping track of the annual giving budget.
- Oversee the management of up to 25 part-time student fundraisers as well as assisting with their recruitment, hiring, and training.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- An Undergraduate Degree in Administration OR a related field.
- A minimum of five year's fundraising experience preferably annual fundraising programs such as direct mail, digital fundraising, and call centre programs.
- OR a combination of equivalent education and experience.
