Salary Range:

$40,167.00 - $50,210.00 per annum

YOUR FOCUS:

 

 

 

The Pay Administration Officer reports directly to the Pay Administration Supervisor. This position is responsible for the processing of all types of pay documents in accordance with the appropriate collective agreement and/or personnel policy. This position also coordinates with other areas of People & Culture and/or departments within the University to provide expertise, advice and assistance on Human Resources, payroll and Colleague processes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WHAT YOU BRING:

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Two (2) year post-secondary education in the field of Business or Accounting and Payroll Services.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a Human Resources Pay administration role.

  • Strong mathematical skills are a must
  • Time management skills are essential with experience in a fast paced, time sensitive, deadline driven environment.
  • Analytical thinking and judgement, attention to detail, and results oriented.
  • Knowledge of Federal & Provincial Employment Standards is a must.
  • Knowledge of Colleague, Informer 5 would be considered an asset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite is required (Share Point, Access, Word, Excel, etc).
